Johannes taking sails down

This is our second day. With a decent breeze in the morning we sailed downwind leaving behind Toronto, the well known terrain, and, for the first time, starting to discover complete new waters.

The wind gained in strength and even got too strong, so we had to take down the headsail which wasn't easy as big waves were rocking and shacking our boat.

Finally, we found a cute little port. As we approached the harbour canal, our depth sounder suddenly showed 3 foot. and....we got stuck in the ground. The whole marina was pretty shallow, but after a second try, we managed to get in. Little shocked from this exciting sailing day we recovered cooking a five star meal using our beloved camping stove.

So long... we have to go to sleep in order to be fit for tomorrow. Goodnight ..zzzZZZ
